The Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC) today unveiled Bermaz Auto Alliance Sdn Bhd as its Official Automotive Partner with sponsorship of three units of Peugeot 5008.
The sponsorship ceremony was officiated by Dato’ Sri Ben Yeoh, Bermaz Auto Berhad Executive Chairman and Dato’ Wong Kin Foo, Bermaz Auto Alliance Sdn Bhd Managing Director and MHC President, Dato’ Sri Subahan Kamal at Peugeot Sales Showroom at Glenmarie, in Shah Alam.
Peugeot 5008 offers a bigger and spacious cabin and interior with comfortable and practical 7 seats and is categorized as a mid-range Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). The model is powered by a Turbo High Powered (THT) 1.6L Twin-Scroll petrol engine with a fuel injection of 164hp (6,000rpm) and 240Nm torque (1,400rpm), apart from a 6-speed automatic transmission with Quickshift and pedal shift technology.
MHC President, Dato’ Sri Subahan Kamal expressed gratitude and appreciation to Bermaz Auto Alliance Sdn Bhd for stepping up as MHC’s sponsor, hoping that more corporate companies will come forward and support hockey in Malaysia.

Representing Bermaz Auto Alliance Sdn Bhd top management team were Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Francis Lee, Chairman/ Executive Director of Prima Merdu Sdn Bhd, Dato’ Amer Hamzah Ahmad dan Head of Product and Strategy Stellantis Malaysia, Mr. Hugues Fabre.
