Blue Warriors Crowned Champions of TNB MHL 2025 Women’s Division

Blue Warriors made history by clinching their first-ever TNB Malaysia Hockey League (TNB MHL) 2025 Women’s Division title after securing a narrow 1-0 victory against Territory Stingers today.

 

In the match held at the KPM Hockey Stadium in Lembah Pantai, Nur Afiqah Syahzani Azhar’s decisive field goal in the 16th minute proved to be the difference, sealing a perfect record for Blue Warriors.

 

This sixth consecutive victory allowed Blue Warriors to collect the maximum 18 points, earning them the league title in dominant style.

 

Head Coach of Blue Warriors, Megat Azrafiq Megat Termizi was among the most overjoyed individual as he watched his team make history by claiming the prestigious title in this year’s league.

 

He acknowledged that this triumph would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication and relentless hard work of everyone in the team.

 

“Alhamdulillah, we have officially secured the league title. This marks a historic first title for PDRM Blue Warriors.

 

“It is undoubtedly a very proud achievement. Full credit goes to the players for their determination and exceptional commitment throughout the league.

 

“Winning the title with a flawless record makes this victory even more special for everyone in the team.”

 

Meanwhile, in another women’s division clash, Negeri Sembilan delivered a masterclass performance, thrashing Mutiara-MSSPP-PSHA-PKS UNITEN 13-0 in Bertam

 

In the Premier Category, Terengganu Hockey Team (THT) had no trouble overcoming Nurinsafi Sporting with a convincing 5-1 victory in Bertam, while UiTM HA-KPT edged out Liaoning Men’s Hockey Team in a closely contested 3-2 battle.

 

In the meantime, Maybank secured a solid 3-1 win over TNB Thunderbolts, while Matador Hockey Club dominated Territory Stingers with a commanding 8-1 victory.

 

Terengganu Hockey Team currently lead the league with a perfect 24 points from eight consecutive wins, while Tenaga Nasional Berhad follows closely in second place with 21 points, having seven victories and one defeat.
