A total of 16 coaches attended a six-day Level 3 Coaching Course in conjunction with the 12^th Sultan of Johor Cup in Johor Bahru. Organised by the Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC) in collaboration with Johor Hockey Association (JHA), the course was held on Oct 19-24 at the Pine Tree Marina Resort. It was conducted by Mr Paul Lissek. The German, who is a former coach of the Malaysian senior team, is arguably one of the best coaches in international hockey today. The coaching course instructors were Mr. V. Sasidharan, and Mr. V.Muraleedharan. Johor HA President Dato’ Majid Manjit Abdullah, who is also the MHC Coaching Committee Chairman, graced the event. It was also attended by Mr. Parm Jat Singh JHA Deputy President (II) and Chairman of JHA Coaching Committee), and En. Faqarudin Abdul Kadir, Honorary Secretary of JHA. The Participants – Mohd Nor Aqmal Abdul Ghaffar, Ikmal Abdul Jabar, Kaliswaran Muniandy, Tengku Ahmad Tajuddin Tengku Abdul Jalil, Azrul Effendy Bistaman, Mohd Helmi Hafidz Mohd Haidir, Siti Noor Amarina, Muhamad Amin Rahim, Baljit Singh Charun Singh, Kumar Subramaniam, Roslan Jamaluddin, Mohd Azmi Yahya, Zamzam Mohamed Ali, Mohd Madzli Ikmar Mohd Nor, Izwan Firdaus Ahmad Tajuddin, and Kelvinder Singh Makbul Singh.
