Malaysian Youth and Sports Minister YB Hannah Yeoh, together with her Deputy, YB Adam Adli, today handed over the Malaysian flag “Jalur Gemilang” to the Malaysian National Senior Men’s Hockey Squad bound for the upcoming FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023. At the meaningful ceremony, YB Hannah Yeoh delivered words of encouragement to the national players, reminding them to give their all and perform to their best throughout their World Cup campaign in Bhubaneswar-Rourkela, India. Also present at the ceremony were Dato’ Jana Santhiran Muniayan, Ministry of Youth and Sports Secretary-General, Dato’ Ahmad Shapawi Ismail, Director General of the National Sports Council, Dato’ Sri Subahan Kamal, President of the Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC), Mr. Ahmad Faedzal Md Ramli, Chief Executive Officer, National Sports Institute, Mr. Mohd Faidz Sanusi, Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysia Stadium Board and MHC Executive Board Members.
