Bangladesh surprised fans in the 8th Men’s Junior Asia Cup with a 2-0 win over Korea and in the process finished second in Group B at the Wisma Belia Hockey Stadium yesterday.

Mohamed Sarower Hossain put Bangladesh ahead in the 25th minute via a field goal and Milon Hossain added the second nine minutes after the breather in similar fashion.

“My teammates were fully motivated to go out there and win against Korea. And it was our determination that won us the match,” said Bangladesh captain, Asim Gope.
